Mellowmen was formed in spring 2001 by singer and songwriter Andreas Nyberg. In the beginning the band worked mainly within the safety of the studio walls and rarely made any live shows. The debut ep entitled Get out of shape with the Mellowmen made them realise their enormous potential as a live act and since then their gigs has been drawing lots of attention.
With influencis like Brian Wilson and Paul McCartney Andreas Nyberg creates his own universe of beautiful melodies and songs. It's classis songwriting with a modern twist. A Swedish reviewer once said: "This is where Sex, Drugs & Rock & Roll meets Peace, Love & Understanding."
The debut album Tomorrow's Sound Today is out now.
